Bushcraft Courses
Join us at our stunning oak canopied private woodland set within the Harewood Estate of West Yorkshire. Our canopied basecamp and a wood fire ensure our clients keep dry and the kettle is always boiling so bring along your favourite brew.
All of our sessions are run with a maximum of 10 people, that way we can maintain a low presence in the forest in order to experience Nature up close. The small group sizes also ensure a high level of interaction with the instructor, we'll get plenty of one to one tuition through the workshops to develop your skills at your own pace.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we're very open and there's no obligations.

Spend 30 hours in a beautiful ancient woodland nestled in the Harewood Estate, the perfect venue for learning and spending a night out in the woods under a tarp. For 2025 Peter Forrester, Instructor at Howl, has breathed new life into the first course Howl launched with, and now you can join him for a weekend in the woods doing all the things we love to do when wild camping under the trees. Practical skills meet favourite crafts as we laugh and learn in the leaves.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to reconnect with the great outdoors. Sign up today, and step into a world of adventure with our bushcraft course dedicated to weekend warriors!
To mark 10 years of Howl Bushcraft, we worked hard to restore the original course I launched with in 2014. I truly believe working with good friends, and developing collaborative relationships is the only way to share this knowledge and passion we all carry for Bushcraft. In this way, this course is now Peters to own and deliver. -Jamie Dakota
